I ran across this on another forum.

Hello,
You'll find here 4 plugins to download for test (and more) on Tomtom G0x10 (version 6.11 minimum).
Four plugins are currently available :
Tripmaster : provides Tripmaster-like functions and GPS tracking capabilities
Offroad Navigator : allows you to follow an itinerary without maps
ReverseItn : allows you to reverse an itinerary
NMEAlogger : allows you to record, as they are received by the Tomtom, the NMEA frames
For example, with these softwares, you can record a trip, in an itinerary file, even if you're off-road, then reverse it with ReverseItn and navigate back to your starting point with Offroad Navigator. Isn't life pretty ? ;-)
They are provided for free, at your own risks (backup your Tomtom before installation), without any After-Free-Sales Support ;-) |

Works a treat, although to get the menu working with the correct icons requires adding extra pages/ entries with a text editor, no big deal - I should point out I am running POICapture so the Go-910 is not totally "stock", my only concern is the Off Road Navigator part, all the controls and messages are in French, although its not too difficult to work out whats what.
The NMEA logger is certainly of use for me, and something I was missing from the device, it records the following NMEA comands:
GPRMC
GPGGA
GPGSA
GPGSV
The Off Road Navigator is again of use (for me anyway), a little more easy to find the car in the large carparks which are not on the map - neat little application if used correctly. - Mike |

Hi "Trusty MIKE",
I've been looking at the addin Tripmaster. It looks like a great addition to my TT1V2. (apologies for posting TT1v2 question here.... )
Just 1 question though; As A Sales manager I travel over 55K mile/year. Does TM automatically pick up the speed limit info off the map data :D , or do I have to set manually all the time?
The "manual" doesn't make it clear.

I don't think the software can use the maps speed limit data, the over speed warning is a manual setting. The map speed data is quite often wrong or missing so I wouldn't personally rely upon it even if the plug in were able to use it - Mike |

Why not ask the author of the program, 'roussillat'?
He hangs out on this forum and is VERY happy to introduce new features requested by users (if they are possible!).
And there's nothing wrong with posting questions about the One v2 in the 'TomTom GO/Rider/One' forum, best place for them! |

Mike,
The separate setup program allows you to change the language. You have to save each page of the setup that you change, there are three pages. You also have to restart the tripmaster for the new settings to work.
Cheers
