|
|
Hi, I got a TT ONE V2 on Friday but when I connect it to TT Home and try to update the firmware all I get is "There was a problem contacting Tomtom Plus. Please try again later."
It has been like that since Friday and I have also tried it on a friends internet connection and got the same, I am on BT total broadband, disabled the firewall on the router, disabled windows firewall and disabled norton firewall, friend is on Blueyonder with firewalls disabled too.
Any ideas? |

Do you have a BT Voyager 2100 Router?
If so this might be your problem. See HERE.
If you Search for '2100' there are three Threads on the subject. _________________ Richard

If you use the Sunbelt Kerio firewall, it is incompatible with TT Home. _________________ Henry |

Thanks for reply guys. I have now sorted the problem, it was because I didnt have the latest version of the HOME software, even though when I did a check for updates of HOME within the program it said I had the latest version. Removed this and downloaded newest one from the tomtom website. |

Hi Vellocet,
Just a thought but I don't thnk it is a good idea to run so many firewall progs.
If set up properly the firewall in your router should be sufficient. They tend to conflict with each other.

Yeah sorry I didnt mean I was running 3, I dont use the Windows Firewall just saying that it was disabled to save a reply saying to disable it. I use Norton and the router firewall. |
