Can we try one more go...
(I just tested it by downloading the simplest option, the single "all cameras in one" file, but the theory should work for all versions)
You download the zip file. It should be called "pgpsw-speed-cams.zip".
Don't bother with Winzip, Windows XP can unzip it for you... Right click on the file and select "Extract all..." That will start the Extraction Wizard.
Just use all the default settings and it should produce a folder called "pgpsw-speed-cams" in the same place as the zip file was saved.
Inside that folder should be "pocketgps_uk_sc.asc" and "pocketgps_uk_sc.bmp"
Point the POI editor in the SmartST Desktop to the folder, but remember
(as copied from the helpfile)
Newer versions of the software, by default, ask for 'Files of type: CSV Files (*.csv)' You might have to put *.* in the File Name window in order to show the asc files.
If you can't get this to work you can either simply rename the asc files to csv files or you can download the files for Garmin as these will also work. |
