Hi all.
Anyone know of a way of getting these pois onto my RAC satnav 110, Route66.
Have emailed route66. No reply as yet.
I know you clever lot may know of another way other than change my make of satnav.

This is quite easy to do, first of all you need to visit Willow-House and download the correct height POI file you need, this should be in the format intended for the Navman devices.
Open the csv file and remove the top two lines of text, this is not required then simply load the POI files in the same way as the cameras are installed, please see THIS Thread (although I think you know how to do this bit IIRC ).
Once the data is loaded configure your device to warn of the bridges, you cannot do a route plan to actually avoid POI - that would be very nice IF any sat nav software house were to make it available, but a long range warning with POI On Route should work very well with Route 66 - Mike |

Should you want any of the other POI files from this site have a look at THIS Page select the download type to Garmin and do the same edit to be able to use them on your unit. I am not too sure if there is a limit to the number of custom POI files you can load to the device, so don't go filling it up - Mike |
