Version as per my sig - perhaps these features are part of the interim changes.
Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure the POI category doesn't get enabled either i.e. my Restaurant category isn't enabled following my Navigate-to task above (and I did take it all the way through to actual navigation).

Just gon through it again. Seems to only enable POIs when you use find on browse map. Not so annoying after all. I only upgraded to v 6 Friday so have been playing around with it. It does seem to be faster & smoother than 5.1. I'll just have to wait till there's an upgrade available & hope it puts the find POI feature back.
By the way, how do you put the details of your setup on the buttom of your messages please? |

I started to create one with the TomTom Menu Designer Beta 1.10 and Skux's Online menu builder, but they all have buttons missing for TT6.
Cheers,

Have you been able to include the extra buttone that TTN6 has and TTN5 hasn't
Previously I wrote | TTN6 is also missing the keyboard to find POIs that TTN5 had. There's one to find the category but you then have to scroll through all the POis to find the one you want. It's ok if you're looking for one near you or your destination but a pain when you want to "Navigate to" or for advance planning.[/quote]
I've now upgraded to TTN6.3 (although my device isn't supported) and the keyboard is back. I think I had a very early build of version 6. I live in the Channel Islands which aren't covered by Navigator maps so I have to wait for my next trip away at the end of the month before I can try it out properly. _________________ TT Go Essential |
