Hi there,
Have been trying to become a subscribed member on your site but unfortunately am not sure whether it is in the process or not.
Was ideally wanting to download the camera database before i went on a 800 mile round trip, which has now passed and have paid twice with both debit and credit card last friday.
At first i thought it might just take a few days but then i read on here that credit cards are instant so am not sure if am actually waiting for anything.
Just wondering how long it should normally take or have i done something wrong?
Thank you,
Justin |

Hi Justin,
Your payment is showing as pending at the moment. If it is still not active inthe next day or so I can get someone to have a look into it further.
Thanks

Hopefully it should come through in the next day or so.

Hi Justin,
It's 5 full working days now and PayPal takes 8 working days to clear - we do mention this on the subscription page, but amongst all the other information it can be easy to miss.
That said, if you paid by credit or debit card it should go through immediately. I have checked with PayPal using your email address, but they do not have it on their system. Did you sign up using another address maybe?
Also can you let me know the PayPal transaction ID on your receipt.
Many thanks Justin and thanks for your patience. _________________ Robert Brady |

Thanks for your reply rob,
Im just counting the days from when i paid via both my credit and debit card which was friday 5th dec.
I didnt go through pay pal, just paid by card etc... Was i meant to?
Didnt see any info regarding days though, except that cards were instant so tbh im now really confused .
Is that any help to you? Let me know what i should do to sort it out.
Thanks
Justin |

Hi Justin,
Many apologies, ignore all the references to PayPal, you're quite right you didn't use PayPal!
That said, it looks as if your Nochex payment didn't go through, can you try again please at http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/subscription.php
Any problems, just shout and we'll fast-track you.
Again, sorry for the confusion _________________ Robert Brady |

Thanks robs,
Still slightly confused now though.
I tried to pay again via credit card and it wouldnt let me, saying i had a paypal account with the account details and e-mail address and told me to pay through Paypal.
So i tried that and appeares my Paypal account is inactive (probably as ive not used it for ages) so nothing would process through them. Could not remember password so though I would try credit card again and when i clicked on the link, the sales reciept comes up indicating ive paid
So now i have not got a clue as the payment didnt seem to process in the first place.
Im destined not to join this site |

You should be able to pay if you use the Nochex button.
Nochex has no connection with PayPal and you do not need an account with them.
Failing that, I'm afraid you'll have to pay by good ol' snail mail and cheque.
You shouldn't have a problem with Nochex though... he says hopefully! _________________ Robert Brady |

Hi Justin,
According to our records only one payment went through. So all OK now.
Thanks for your patience! _________________ Robert Brady |
