|
|
My TomTom Go 910 recently was updated to v6.52 of the software and since then it seems that the automatic brightness function has stopped working even though I've played with every combination of the settings.
Is anyone else suffering these problems, or is it a hardware fault do you think?
Thanks in advance! |

The auto brightness only works when the unit is on the mount. Not sure about the 910 but it works like that on my 510. Mine was working last night and i am on v6.52. |

Kind of an old thread, however...
It appears Tripmaster was causing a problem with my 910s auto light sensor. Once removed it is working normally now. Although I haven't completely isolated it to this, it's something to try... |

I had this problem with 6.52 but since I have upgraded to 6.522 I haven't seen the problem. I can't say I have done any real testing for it, but it seems to be working OK now.
I think the problem was something to do with putting the TomTom into the desk cradle rather than to do with Tripmaster. |

I had this problem a while back with my 910 - it seemed to get confused by altering the settings whilst not connected to the windscreen mount.
I cured the problem by a reset and then making setting adjustments whilst on the windscreen mount - then leaving well alone! |
