When my SmartST Desktop is connected to my ICN 530, the FIND CITY command (under the MAP command) is grayed out. Is there a way to see what the FIND CITY command will do? I've go the latest software and patch.
Another question: is there an easy way to import a POI file, to say Google Earth or another mapping program, to show me the individual POIs? Everytime I try it the programs connect all the POI with lines/routes, just showing me a mess. |

'Find City' depends on you having a amap CD in the drive, I think. You can import POIs into Autoroute and view them individually. _________________ Tim |

Well you were right about needing a CD in the drive to use Find City. Funny though, I thought the feature might let me DO something other than put an icon on a city.
As for Autoroute, it appears that is just for the UK, and I'm in the US. Oh well. THanks |

No, the 'Find City' just shows you which CD the city is on, I think. As you're in the US, swap 'Autoroute' for ' Streets and Trips'. That is the US equivalent. _________________ Tim |

Streets and Trips looks very interesting, thanks. But at $129.00 USD, that's a bit much. I see older versions at $20, though. You would think there was an online app that I could paste my PO longitude/latitude data into and see plot points, without connecting them. |
