Hello,
I am using Fugawi UK 3.1.0.473 and a Palm Tungsten T3 .
Whenever I start a route and click on Navigate on the palm it beeps and crashes and needs a soft reset. It appears to be trying to display something on the screen as I can see parts of a very faint image when it crashes.
Otherwise I can drag and scroll maps fine.
Also Waypoints have no names displayed beside them on the Palm just the waypoint square appears.
Anyone have any help or suggestions or similar problems.
The software mentions the Garmin ique so I thought it would support the T3 but maybe this is not the case.
Thankyou,
Paul |

Paul,
I have just tried the same with my Tungsten T3 in both the extended and smaller screens. Fugawi crashes in both situations.
This has to be a problem where the software has run over some operating system data and trashed the PDA memory. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Mike,
Thanks for checking this out. I re-installed and applied the update from the fugawi website (although it is the same version) just in case I was using older version of palm files but same problem occured. I have emailed Fugaw but I didn't return the enclosed registration letter so don't know if they will respond without this.
From reading other forums there appear to be several different programming interfaces to the 320*480 screen ie. sony, garmin palm etc .
Maybe it is something to do with graphics drivers etc.
Cheers,

Mike,
I found this problem mentioned on another forum. If you assign the navigate function to one of the buttons on palm in the Route prefs menu then press this button rather than tapping the onscreen button to navigate it appears to work OK.
