I wish to travel from London to Le Dorat in France.
I have the Navman N40i the Uk maps are on the internal memory and I have the French maps on the storage card. When the unit calculates the route it returns a message saying unable to calculate route – can anyone please explain why this is? DO I have to enter Folkestone then Le Dorat when we arrive in France?
Thnaks

Maybe you have ferries ticked as 'avoid' in the route options menu or parts of the french map are missing. _________________ Samsung Mega

Hi
What Portman is talking about is the ferries. These will be found in Routing.next page (click btm rhs), uncheck avoid ferries,
Not the ones that are located in maps? ( all ferries in maps are to be checked, including french one's)
Regards
