|
The recent posts about rivers and minor roads missing in the WE download has set a few alarm bells ringing given my off road use of the forestry commission tracks most likely to be missing in addition to my more normal use.
So my question (and I'm expecting an answer of No) is..
Is it possible to dual run nav5 with old GB maps and nav6 with new W Europe maps on the same PDA switching as appropriate?

yes, this is possible without too many problems. They will simply not see each other's maps. _________________ Lutz

I'm running both quite happily,
TT5 with most of my overseas maps, US, Aus, Far East for business etc., and back home TT6 for the UK and Europe. |

Would it be possible to advise how you managed this and any problems to look out for. Thanks.

TT5 and overseas maps, with POI's are on a 2Gb card, (I'm not an expert, so how much of TT5 operating system is on the device I don't know) and TT6 is on the device with the UK map on the same card. I have another seperate card for all of TT6 street level Europe. No problems for me. I have two TT icons on the device so I know which is which, but obviously you know it off by heart after a while. |

Hi,
Can anyone advise how I could go about this. I have upgraded to V6 and the new map for UK which seems to have removed the V5 application on istallation. I have tried to simply reinstall V5 (to enable me to use some Europe maps which I had previously purchased) but it does not seem to want to reinstall. Anyone got any ideas ?
Thanks |
