I followed suit and swapped the C510D for a TT ONE V2. Very pleased with it so far, and traffic info is very good (although I must look into keeping data costs down).
There were certain things that I felt the Garmin did a little better, but not enough to cause a problem, and the TT does quite a few other things better, in my opinion. |

Be interested to hear what you think eash unit does better than the other - when I switched from TomTom PDA to the Garmin I thought some of the differences would really bother me, but I've got used to most of them now. |

i might be the only one in saying this.
i found my garmin window mount held better than the tomtom one.
Twice the suction has dropd on me. anyone eles had the same prob ?
The thing i liked about the garmin one,was that it lockd a suction to your windscreen the TT One dont seem to hold well for me
But then it might just be me not putting it on corretly _________________ ######

Hi Creatz
Funny that - I had problems with my Garmin mount dropping off the windscreen and understood the new TomTom ONE was better!
Garmin have acknowledged to me that the mount for the Nuvi was being look at, I personally think the rubber suction cup should be a little softer and larger. I posted in another thread regarding the "professional" mounts available on Amazon for the Garmin range and the "friction" mount that Garmin provide which sits on the dash but it I guess no-one has used these yet.

I shouldnt really judge somthing based on few days experience.
In my experience:
The garmin i had for 3 days and not once fell off my windscreen
The tomtom based on the same amout of time has drop'd off a handfull of times
and dropd off again today.....
