Tom Tom stole my voice warnings!

I just bought the updated map of WE, version 660, and TomTom home kindly updated my system to 6.52. Now, I've lost all the voice warnings for cameras, and am back to the boings, bells and whistles. How do I get the voices back with this version of the software?

Went to that link, but none of the files mentions 6.52.

If you read it, it says that instead of using a new data.ckh file you can just put .ogg files in the same directory as your POIs and you will get the warning in said .ogg file. There's a link in that thread to a download site, too (Ray's site).

Having read it again, the OGG files don't have a software version attached, so does that mean they work with any version. Also, there are two of each file, one at 22050Hz and one at 16000Hz. Does it matter which I select? (Go 700)

But PGPSW say there won't be any more data.chk files compiled for upcoming software versions, so you might as well get used to using the raw sound files.

1) Totally version independent - do it once and never have to change it again.
2) Use the 22050Hz versions for Go's etc and the 16000Hz for smartphones.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I downloaded the 22050Hz files from Ray's site, pasted them into the Western Europe map folder, and eventually got them working. Points to note:

1. Some of the PGPS warnings don't have a relevant ogg file in the download, so were coming up with bells etc. I chose the generic ogg file, copied it to the desktop, renamed it to correspond with the warning, and copied it back to the Go. So now, Gatso, Gatso_tba and Gatso_var all just come up with Gatso. (each was a separate copy and rename, and the same for specs and mobiles.)

2. After copying into the Go, the bells and whistles still appeared. I had to go through the options to "manage POIs" and then "warn when near". I then went through each individual warning reactivating them, and as others have said, because there was an ogg file, the option to choose a sound didn't appear. All other options, distance, warn when on route, etc worked as normal.

After this, it seems to be operational.
