Just upgraded from TT5 to TT6. All is well, except the inability to 'Rotate Screen' which was in TT5.
I know that later PPC OS's have the ability to rotate using the system software, but mine does not:-(
Just thought I'dpost this in case you have a 4150 with Win CE 4.20. I have tried to see if I can upgrade my system, but there does not seem to be a way to do it.
On the plus side, TT6 works really well in Portrait mode, and seems faster and does not crash the machine at all (I have had TT6 for a week and not needed to soft reset). |

yes, tough luck for owners of WM2003 machines. We complained to TomTom very early in the beta but they chose not to listen
You can try NyDitot or similar but it will slow the machine down considerably. _________________ Lutz

Many thanks lbendlin on the suggestion of Nyditot Virtual Display, I didn't know it existed.
It does slow things down a bit, but it may help me just to use it with TT6 on a long journey, and then disable Nyditot Virtual Display for the rest of the time - except maybe when using Excel.
Cheers. |

Is it worth having a look to see if there's an upgrade ROM for your device to WM2003se? I did this with my girlfriend's ACER N35 (took a while to find the download!) and it gives you rotation in the OS.
One thing to note though: there is an issue (certainly with the ACER) if you use it on battery rather than power then your map goes frantically wrong jumping like a jumping thing. See http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=49285 for more info on the issue. _________________ Tom Tom GO 720
