Tom Tom One
App 6.520
GPS v1.21 Boot 4.86
Map GB v 605.0
Had problems with the speed camera voices as when I downloaded the new app 6.520 it reverted to Tom Tom beeps and horns but thn relised that the data.chk file needed replacing to correspond to the new 6.520 version as shown in your Customised POI warning sounds for TomTom site. It now works a treat and the faster sat fixes are a definate plus.

Help !! sorry for being SO thick -- it is the AGE thing.....
OK I have a TomtomGO Classic -- great bit of kit...
this is what is on the Green screen
Tom Tom Go
Device AK*** AJ***
App 5.100 (5158/050510) OS:832
30mb Ram (free:3.5mb)
GPS v1.21, Boot 2.11
Map: 'Great_Britain_Plus-Map' v571
or--
'France_Plus-Map' v571
Language: English UK
I also have a 1 Gb card in..
Please tell me if I need any thing else?
do I need to change the version thing ?-
-someone told me the upgrade was faulty ??
Belgium something or other!

Fibre - if it works and does what you want, why change it?
There will hopefully soon be a new map version upgrade, which you might want. If you get that you will have to update your software to v6. |

OMG thank-you -- should have realised that
It does work ok but reading in here about what I should have and shouldnt have got me worried..

He's quite right though, as your Topic doesn't cover the same criteria.
We want to know which Maps work, or not, with which software.
Although your List refers to Maps and Devices, it doesn't compare Software issues.
Finally, there's no need to be offensive.

Well I was fairly offended by Lutz's offhand reply too....
I was actually offering the data we had collected to HELP you lot (as opposed to charging for it, but let's not go there again  )
It's a shame that your chart, doesn't seem to know what the actual map coverage is for half the version numbers ("MRE or plus?") |

GPS: 1.21
Boot 4.31
Map: GB + WE V650.1110
Do i have the latest of them all?
I've seem app: 6.520, how do I upg mine to this?
