Sadly I'm a new statistic in the crime database. My beloved TT Go (classic) got stolen a few weeks ago. Today I bought myself a TT ONE Europe. :D
As I have regularly backed up my Go, I got the brainwave to copy the favourites from the Go's last backup over to the new TT One, however I do not know which file is is (name and extension etc)
Please let me know
Thanks. |

It's the .cfg file inside the map folder. You will have to be sure that it has exactly the same name as the map folder.
However, with the new 6.5 firmware, it gets renamed to MapSettings.cfg |

46jimbo, dunno if you heard this before or not, but you are the DADDY! 8)
It was as you said, with the only difference being on the old backup it was all in lower case, so I renamed it by changing the capital letters to so as MapSettings. The original one on the TT One, I renamed beforehand as .old
Fired up the defive and voila - its all there!
Thanks again for the speedy reply. |

Thanks everyone. Mapsettings.cfg worked a treat. |

Good info.
Having install new maps needed to restore favs.
For info all the POI's I'd added (e.g PGPS cams etc.) were not shown but still existed in folder with old map name. Just copied these over to the new map folder and they are all there again. Though annoyingly I've had to reset alerts for the speed cams |
