Hi, I have just bought a TT1 V2 GB and was wondering how you get different voices. I have seen them on ebay but is this the best way or is there another way? Thanks for your help. |

Thanks for your help, Timber. I was thinking more along the lines of famous people like Homer Simpson etc. Does anyone no where I could get these from? |

As the voices which come under the heading of "Celebrity Voice Skins" are copyright, the correct method would be to purchase these, TomTom has a selection that you could obtain. As the posting of any location other than official would not be allowed on this forum.
Use Google and TomTom Celebrity Voice Skins as your search thousands of sites are available for what your looking for. |

Disappointed ... bought the Cleese voice but whilst its a novelty there's very little value IMHO and most is a straight voice rather than (which the advert alludes to) a Cleese voice over with a faulty-towers interpretation!
they missed a few obvious tricks ..... would have been nice to have Cleese abuse when you missed a turn and would have been even better if they'd found a way of introducing random abuse too! |

Best voice I have come across is the NASA voice from satnavvoices.com costs about £5 and is a bargin. It's so good I never use any other. Every one who has heard it likes it, and how can 'Discovery' as they call you get lost if 'Houston Mission Control' is your guide? |
