First post.
Hi - looking at the supported system types it seems to suggest that the Speed Camera database does not support the Navman Pin 570.
On the other hand - all the information seems to suggest that its just additions to POI .
Have I read this correctly?
Second question - not sure if I'm allowed multiple questions in the same post?
I seem to read about a free database and a subscription service.
Is it just that the subsciption service is kept up to date and the free database is yesterdays snapshot?

1. This is where you want to be http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras-navman.php
2. The last free ones are a year out of date. It's worth paing the £2 per month ot £19 per year. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Hi - Thanks for the reply - I guess you are correct - £2 is not a lot to pay for the up to date database.
But I'd like to try the free one first and see how it works in practise.
See how I get warnings - if its any use with cameras I know.
Please can you post the complete URL - all I seem to find is details about how to subscribe.
Must be missing something but I'm having a great difficulty finding the actual free database download.

Look here http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=46471
Once you have Registered and subscribed you will be able to download the Safety Camera database. There may be an update before your subscription expires, so make sure you check just before expiry. (There were two updates in October).
Bear in mind that should you come across a new static camera, are the first to report it and it's verified, you will get a lifetimes free membership to Camera Updates. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Just notices you said.

| The last Free database was November 2005, I don't think you'll be able to get hold of it now, but it would be so out of date and inaccurate, you wouldn't really get an idea of how good, overall, the PGPSW database is. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
