The following was the response from TomTom to my question about when 3 is coming out, do you think it could be due in the next few weeks (months) or am I as well buying the 2 now and opting for the upgrade to 3 when it comes out
"Last year's upgrade from version 1 to 2 was not free but at a significantly reduced price + shipping and handling. As for the release date of Navigator 3 all we are allowed to tell you is to keep an eye on our website for the next few weeks (months) for new products as we release them. "

I saw the title of this thread and couldn't open it quick enough thinking you'd got a scoop!
Whilst we can all be fairly certain that TTNav3 is on the way and they are correct in saying that they are pretty generous with upgrade offers for existing owners what we all want to know is WHEN!
I'd bet that it makes an appearance before end of Q2 2004 but I have no inside knowledge here just idle speculation _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi
I spoke to TT also last week with a technical query. This was before i bought my TT Nav 2 BT. He asked how soon i needed it. When i asked why, he just said keep my eye on the website, but couldn't tell me more...So why get me excited.
I think though....and just a feeling....it is going to be sooner rather than later...

Oh no I've just taken the plunge and ordered TT2 but what the heck if I can upgrade when it comes out at least I'll be able to get some practice in before the upgrade
