|
|
hi,
been given a usb mains charger for my TT1, to charge at home.
on the packet it says;
AC input power:90-230V AC 50/60hz
out:5VDC 400mA, minimum 150mA
DC input:12 to 24V
out:5VDC 400mA,minimum 150mA
can i use this to charge my TT1? Is it too strong for my TT1 unit? |

The TomTom 1 mains charger says:
__
Out +5v --- 2A MAX 25-34VA
I didn't think you could charge TomTom 1 (v1) via USB. Or is yours a v2? _________________ Regards

its a main socket with a usb slot, then i use my usb psp (which normally charge TT1 via pc), to connect TT1 and mains charger. sometimes i don't want to fire up the pc at home just to charge my TT1, so wanted a mains charger(which r overpriced me thinks), so someone suggested usb plug with my psp usb. |

Makes no sense to me
The bottom line is that ONLY the TomTom One New Edition will charge via the USB socket. |
