|
|
Hi Folks
Got myself a 2001 reg BMW 530 with built in Sat Nav. Unfortunately, the map CD I got with it is really badly scratched and the sat nav reader can't read it. What is the name of the software/maps and do these guys have a website? |

I can let you have the VDO UK & Ireland 2006 map disk for £20. Works perfectly. |

You can polosh the surface of the disk to remove the scratches. The data is on the top of the disk. I find t-cut wors well. |

Postcode search is broken with the 2006-2 DVD. 2007-1 has just been released, but no reports yet if this issue has been resolved... |

You'll need to update the navigation software in addition to getting a new map CD/DVD. Check out http://www.x5world.com/articles/all-bmw/navigation/9458-bmw-navigation-system-faq.html |
