Hi
I have just downloaded the gpsworld poi Files via Dnote POI edit and the .ov2 and .bmp files are in the map folder. Unfortunately they all arent showing (but some are) within tomtom. Is there a limit on the number of files tomtom can handle ?
any advise welcome. Thnaks |

Welcome to the forum, I am not too sure what you have downloaded using the POIEdit application, if you think its the PGPSW Camera POI files then they will be very old files. Support for the POIEdit was withdrawn quite some time back.
For the cameras you need to be a subscribed member of the site, then you simply download the POI's to your desktop, before transferal to your naviagtion device. Subscription costs £2 per month or £19 for a year.
If using TT5 the limit is 39 POI
if using TT6 the limit is 100 POI.

Mike
Thanks for the reply
I followed the instructions from GPSPW and I dowloaded POI Edit from this URL http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/PocketGPSPOISync.php and followed the instructions for all the POIs. Is this all out of date then ? I suppose I should be using POI edit and uncheck everything but the speed cam files? I have paid my subscription, by the way.
Thanks for you help and advise. I spent all day sunday trying to get all the POI files to show on my PDA! But I guess I can only have 39 at any one time |

Correct, don't waste any more time as 39 is the limit. This is poor I agree.
I think tomtom 6 allows more categories, but do not know how many. |
