Recently upgraded to version 6.15 and version 6.32 map on a TT500. This morning I have a red boarded triangle displayed on the bottom right hand side of the map. Tapping on it seems to do nothing but bring up the main menu.
Anyone any idea what is means? |

Road works perhaps? Does it have a symbol inside it?
TT have a number of symbols that they can bring up on your screen and there appears to be no reference to what they mean, so just take it to mean 'hazard of some kind'. |

Have you got traffic enabled and active?
I had the same the other day, it was a triangle with a wind sock inside it, I guess to highlight high winds (which was the case in Scotland at that time)

I do have traffic enabled.
I wonder if it was "fog". There seem to be some lines within the triangle which I suppose could indicate mist or fog... and it was misty first thing. |

Is
this it? Windy, fogy, snowy or slippery conditions, apparently. _________________ Tim |

That's it - spot on. At first I was trying to work out if those lines within the triangle were actually words in a very small font! Thanks for solving the mystery. Had traffic for over a year but never seen it before - so I suspect it must have come with the recent software update. |

There's a list of the Traffic icons in the online v5 manual HERE
Click on TomTomPlus in the left pane and scroll down past the coloured "traffic update" icons.
(Typically the new, improved v6 manual HERE makes no mention of them! ) |
