Near Gatwick South Terminal, Smart St Pro thinks that Buckingham Gate joins onto the B2036. It does but it is not open to traffic apart from Emergency services.
This was a bit of a b~'#@er as I couldn't then find my way to the proper way in to Gatwick, there was no way of convincing Smart St to go a different way. |

Hi tcs17_tim,
I found your post quite amusing because a few weeks ago I visited the Navman UK offices to try and resolve some technical problems I had been experiencing with my set-up.
Their offices are very close to Gatwick and my 3400 system tried to route me via the closed wooden gate your post referred to. I thought it quite ironic that the Navman system was unable to find a usable route to their own headquarters!
Cheers,
Mick.
PS To be fair, once I did get there, they were extremely helpful and managed to solve a couple of the problems I been experiencing. |

I did actually report it to Navtech and got a nice friendly email confirming that you cant get through there, which was helpful.
To be fair I did have shortest route set just for fun as I was going to be early, but once I was there I couldnt get out without driving towards the town and then following the guidance again. |
