Eldar,
I have no respect for your opinion so go busy yourself elsewhere. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

Whatever Eldar, but how about I don't post a response to anything you say and you try likewise with my posts. Then no one else here has to endure this misery. There must be other threads you can stifle.

Perhaps another moderator would be kind enough to close this thread (which for my sins I started). It would be appreciated. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

I'm sorry? I thought you said you'd waste no more, what was it now, oh yes

energy, that was it.
Eldar is a highly respected member of the GPS community and has probably forgotten more than you will ever know on the subject. It would probably have been better if you hadn't started the thread (for your sins) but would have been even better still if you actually hadn't wasted any more of your own, or anyone elses, time on it. _________________ Tim |

Another moderator advocating that people shouldn't speak freely! What a place this is turning out to be!
The energy comment was specific to one person, sorry I wasn't clearer.
Seeing as you don't see the benefit of the post, surely the suggestion to close it makes sense?
Your defence of your colleague does have a certain charm. _________________ iPhone 4/4S (iOS 5.1.1); TomTom Western Europe (1.10)/USA & Canada (1.10); CoPilot for iPhone (8), UK mapping, Mac OS 10.8/XP Pro/Win7; Tongue firmly in cheek! |

To avoid these tedious and unnecessary exchanges may I suggest that moderators not be permitted to moderate forums for products in which they have a financial interest; see Eldar's signature which draws attention to his website and consider this:
"Explicit advertising in signatures or using Avatar’s for commercial advertising purposes is also prohibited."
in the Forum Rules & Guidelines For Use. |

Since you are questioning my integrity, could I please have just one example when my work as a moderator on these forums was influenced by my "financial interests".
Could you also explain the logical link between this and one of the members giving an extremely rude reply to a reasonable post? |

I have questioned nothing.
I visit this forum for product advice and information. I am fed up with the bickering that is allowed and sometimes fuelled by moderators' comments.
I do not intend to take this thread further off-topic, nor do I intend to prolong the irritation. |

So how much will it cost me to get TomTom Nav 6? Considering I already have TomTom Mobile 5?
Undoubtedly I'll have to buy some new equipment as none of the phones which currently run TTM5 will run TTM6. I must admit I'm also tempted by the new ONE's, although I still think the mobile is the best solution. |

hiya,
u have to pay the full price for TT6 - no cheaper upgrade for existing customers will be offered this time, thats what the TT-support told me.

But presumably one will be able to buy software only and not be forced to purchase a new GPS receiver? |
