Work at Halfords and am impressed by these new units - These will shoot off the shelves. The number of people that were stuck over what SatNav to go with after I told them the (old) ONE was not being shipped to us anymore was untrue. I'm expecting all the Navman 520's they bought to come back fairly shortly!!

Whats the price for one of these bad boys at Halfords?
I think Halfords tend to be quite a bit more expensive.

As with the comparisons of the old ONE and the new one, have you seen the pictures of the new one??? It looks awesome!! That's why I'm getting it over the other one!!

Can anyone with a new V2 One confirm if you get a free traffic data trial? I'm a GO classic owner at the moment and I love it. The only reason for my change would be to get the traffic updates. Is this a valid reason for change?

Thanks in advance

I think Halfords may well be very competitive with their prices, I've already seen people on the web charging vat on the £199.00 price for the UK one... Does anyone know if TomTom use price fixing similar to Apple with their iPods?

The box shipped from TomTom with the ONE NE's contained a leaflet detailing about a 1 month trial to the PLUS! services.

Hope this helps!

Thanks hamburgsong. Looks like I will be heading down to Halfords to chek it out! I'd like to see one, no pun intended, in the flesh to see how it looks and feels.

Bought one - love it, brilliant etc...

...but, how do I get it to connect to my phone?? It finds my phone, it makes my phone call GPRS - but no data is transfered then it says "unable to set up your wireless data connection"

What am I doing wrong??

Hi all, I'm new on here, I've got a question for you .

I had a tom tom one original that froze and went back to argos (and got a full refund after 9 months :D ) today. last week I bought a new from tomtom the Map of USA & Canada on memory card for my holiday in 2 weeks does anyone know if it will work in the one v2 europe or the v2 UK or neither of them ,I'm hoping it will work on the europe machine as I plan to go to France next year and I don't need the extras being offered by the go710.

hamburgsong if you are reading this I hope you can find out when the europe version is going to hit the shelves Wink

Cheers Gary
