Well I now have it, and I have to say I am well happy. It's next to me now, charging merrily.
Everything seems to work fine but the 'my one' option in tomtom home does not seem to work. |

You don't say how far you can get with HOME.
Can HOME see your ONE?
Can you explore the ONE with HOME?
Have you check to see if HOME needs an Update?
Answers to these, any other information you can give, will help us solve the problem.;) _________________ Richard

Home 1.3 is installed, the music, audiobook and pictures option is greyed out (I don't think they are supported anyway) and I can explore my tomtom but when I click on the 'my one' feature and switch on my unit I get the message
" at this time there is no component avaliable that is compatable with your device" |

I believe this is a known problem. Im sure I read on the amazon.com reviews a guy had been in contact with tomtom regarding it and they are working on a fix.
I got mine yesterday also and am very impressed so far :D Glad I got this instead of the original ONE I think. |

Thanks for the reply, looks like we are all beta testers!!
Ah well, great device though.
Just another thing, I had a Garmin which could tell the time and change the display to nightime as soon as it was sunset. I'm suprised to find the tomtom one does not do this. Or am I missing something? |

" at this time there is no component avaliable that is compatable with your device" | Try switching the ONE on before you Click My One.
Originally, the first time you did this, you were able to download the component, and install it.
This should then allow one to view one's ONE as one's own Virtual ONE.
Sorry, I couldn't resist it.
Try using the Login Icon and checking to see if there is an Update.
It could just be that the Program component hasn't been finalised yet. _________________ Richard

Blimey, that's a good idea. Someone should tell TomTom about that!
