Thanks Anita.
Also as recommended by Pocket GPS, download and install "Feeder-Reader" to receive notifications, "From the RSS link" on the camera page.
I'm sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but like myself when I first joined, it takes a little getting used-to with finding out the best way of doing things. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

Oh, I do visit more often than that. I just wanted to clear up the email issue.
I've now subscribed to the notifications thread as suggested. |

Whenever a new version of the database is published, why can't one of the admin just either post a new "announcement" or "sticky" in this forum or make a new post in an existing "latest database has been released" topic ?
People would either see it in the forum index, or if it was added to the existing topic, they could set up an email alert triggered by the new post.
Surely that is the simplest solution? |

That's exactly what is /has been done.
If you check back a few posts you will find the link to that particular thread. _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |

Aha! Thanks for that. (although in my defence I said "in this forum).
I've been catching up on the forums after my hols and hadn't got to the 'dedicated subscribers' one yet. |

Hi Anita, as I said in the subscriber forum, I am watching that, but don't get e-mails to say the question has been updated, but I do with all the other topics, Its just that one that doesn't work. _________________ Audi A3 Sline sat nav |

No problem we all miss things from time to time, such as my last reply to you, (I missed it because it disappeared) and now I can't remember exactly what I said, (nothing rude etc) :o _________________ (If it ain't broke, I can soon fix it) |
