Old programs will not run. You need to check that they are new programs that will run on WinCE .Net

I'm afraid I'm not an expert on Windows versions, but I understand that the version included in the Mio will not run pre- .NET software.
But there are many free and shareware programs available to try, so it will not be difficult to experiment with different versions.

how u managed to install ms reader ? i download the exe file from ms site, and copy to \my flash disk\ folder on mio, but when i tap on the file he doesn't execute and reports a error.
i noticed that i can't install nothing from exe files, while usually cab files install correctly.. what's the problem ?
thank you |

You mostly need to run the EXE files on the PC. Once they ran (even if unsuccessful) you can then grab the CAB file and install that on the Mio. _________________ Lutz

Found Calc98 at http://www.pdagold.com/software/detail.asp?s=312 Works on the Mio and all the button sizes are configurable which means that you can fit it all in on the Mio screen. _________________ Reg |

Calc98 is an excellent program. I have used the PC version for years and it's particularly useful for converting between bases - eg Hex-Decimal. It's what I used to help in breaking the coding of the speedcams file.
