Had the rider for a while and used the work around to get my phone numbers into the rider.
my nokia 6680 isn't compatable so i had to create a text file.
this worked fine till i ran tom tom home and it told me version 6.15 was available.
big mistake now the contacts.txt trick does not work
anybody know what the format is now ? |

easy you create a text file named contacts.txt
and insert names and numbers in this format
"name","12345"
then place the text file in the root directory of your tom tom.
trouble is it doesn't work with version 6.15 |

| update create the text file as per usual then create a folder in the root directory name it contacts and put the text file in there and you have your phone book back |

Hi,
Have tried your workaround for phonebook, i cannot get it to work, phonebook still greyed out.
any advice would be helpfull

In moving the file around has it been renamed contacts.txt.txt?

thanks for info, seems i saved the txt file contacts.txt which made it contacts.txt.txt now sorted.
