PM's sitting in OUTBOX

Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but couldn't see a more suitable Forum/Thread.

I have recently sent 3 PM's to people and had no responses.
Ignorance I thought, but then when I cheched my Sent Items they were not there.
They have been sitting in my OUTBOX.

This hasn't happened every time as I wrote one on Monday 7th which went through ok.

Just wrote one today and that one appears to be hanging around?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think you'll find PMs don't get moved from the Outbox to the Sentbox until the recipient reads them.

Aaah right, thanks Anita. So i guess the ones that were sat in their were through ignorance then!! Crying or Very sad

You will find this a common problem.
I get PMs asking for help, I reply by PM, and they are never read!

On the other hand you'll post a reply on the forums to a request for help, and receive a PM saying 'Thanks. That worked a treat'. So others visiting the forum, and especially those trying to find the answer before posting, don't know that your suggestion worked! Confused

Would you say it's ignorance, or ignorance on the use of PM's?

I could never ask for help, get a response and never read it even if I have found my answer elsewhere.. it's just polite to respond to thank someone for assisting even if they've not given you the answer you wanted....
And the same goes with people PMing me, I'll always respond, even if it's to say I can't help.....

Never mind, it won't put me off using it!
