Hi! I wonder if any one can point me in the right direction. I have a nokia 6600 runing tomtom mobile and would like to use it when I go on a cruise in about a months time.
Surely there is a basic (low detail) world map to show me roughly where abouts in world and on which oceon I'm currently on.
Does any one know where I could get one?
Cheers,
Chooch. |

This is part of the v6 functionality. I doubt that will be available for the TomTom Mobile range by summer. _________________ Lutz

Mmmm
If you obtain something like mapviewGPs, that will at least give your Long, Lat, speed and heading. Using these old paper map thingy's (sea charts or a reasonable world map with Long Lat on it) you may find you won't be that far out and have a reasonable accuracy when plotting your route.
Worth a try, mapviewGPS is Free,
Regards

You don't need extra software. TomTom Mobile already does that, just go into the GPS config menu and it's all there. |
