|
|
I have subscribed to the Speed Camera Database monthly updates but this was for my Tungsten T5 which has TT Navigator 5 installed.
Due to practical problems I intend to buy a TT GO 910 to replace my use of TTN 5 on the T5.
Will my subscription still be valid for the TT GO 910 or will I need to change my subs ?.
I hope the 2 versions use the same .OV2 files.
Thanks.

Keith, Welcome to the forums, your file format is the same for all POI's when you are looking at different devices within the TomTom range, the 910 does offer some additional features have a read though THIS for a guide to setting up the database on the 910, you don't need to change anything to download the files you need - Mike |

If you buy it then youll be fine but DONT BUY IT ! I got one and am not all that happy with it. If you dont require extra maps then go for the 710 as the mp3 player is useless in my opinion. |

Thank you both for your replies.
I was considering the 910, not for it's MP3 capability as I already us my iPod connected to my car stereo, but because I am going to the USA in October and the 910 has US maps installed on its hard drive whereas Tom Tom's blurb on the 710 makes no mention that you can install USA maps on its SD card.
