ok i wouldn't believe such a small machine can cause so much stress, hassle+problems after trying for twenty hrs or more to get a map that will take me from england to spain and failed miserably(i found it cheaper to get a chaufer and have a meal delivered with a vodka and orange) yes you've guessed a plane. i'm getting rid of the i3 buying a tom tom pda and the happy days will return ps not a bad little machine if you just want to with the maps supplied |

You rght, maps are expensive.
Friendly advice: research before purchase - works for me - saves trips back to shops for refunds. _________________ Garmin i3 gone (sold on eBay)

It can be done on the cheap. You can load Metroguide Europe onto the the i3. This can be bought for approx £40 of Ebay. You need to load it with img2gps(freeware) Not bad for the whole of Europe!!!! _________________ i3 2.70(went to 2.82,3.0,3.1 but downgraded) with V8 map on microSD card
Metroguide Europe V7 & V8 (routable and indexed)
Metroguide N America V6 (routable and indexed) |
