|
|
I've recently upgraded my O2 phone from a Sony Ericsson T68 to a Sony Ericsson K750 and I cannot now download traffic information. I've done all sorts of tinkering with the settings and don't feel I can waste any more time on this.
So what I need is a comprehensive, step by step guide which will enable me to start from scratch and set up the connection properly.
Does such a guide exist anywhere? I think there used to be one on the TomTom site but I can't find it now.
Any help appreciated.

Think you are on about this manule configure page
http://www.tomtom.com/support/index.php?FID=3326&Language=1
Dont forget you may have to contact 02 again to get them to re release the 2 files to your contract but i would first uninstall phone from TT and uninstall TT from phone then start auto setup again.
Also the 750 is not on the list but the 750i is. |

Thanks for the quick reply - I'll give it a go.
What are the two files that may have to be re-released?
Cheers.

The last time I had to do this I simply phoned O2 support, informed them I had a new phone and wanted GPRS working, within mins they sent out a text message that activated the settings on the device - once the phone is set for the GPRS it should all work - Mike |

Periodically by K750i on O2 contract "loses" its GPRS settings - I don't know why.
The Sony-Ericsson site has the GPRS infomation for 02, which it will send via text to the phone.
This works well, (the O2 site system doesn't always work for me).
Hope that is of some use. |
