I have a Mio 168 and am getting more and more frustrated with TT5.
I would therefore like to get hold of a copy of the Mio Map and give this a test run.
Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere i can buy this.
Many thanks.

I looked at this but as it was under the product line of upgrade I wasnt sure if it was the full version.
Can anyone confirm its the full version?

Many thanks

Before you splash out on the MioMap may I offer you an alternative. Buy the Navigon MN5 with Navteq Map Database. Miomap uses Teleatlas, which is just awful with a high level of inaccurately named streets up and down the country. I have a MioA201 with Miomap installed. I bought Navigon after putting up with Miomap for 2 weeks!

Best email Mio to confirm it's the full version but I would think it is looking at the price ?.

I would not recommend Navigon 5 with the Mio 168 as it runs very very slow & can't keep up with the car if driving in the city where roads are close together. I am sure it works well with many faster PDA's but look at reports here about it's performance.

I know you are having problems with TT5 but it does run fast on the 168 & I have been using it for a year now without any problems so be aware that Mio Map software is the same as Navigon 5 software but as mentioned it uses different maps.

Save your money & stick with TT5 & avoid disappointment.

I can only tell you my own experience. I had a Mio 168 running Navigon 5 - menus very slow but once on the road it is absolutely fine, re-routing in good time, etc. On the MioA201 Navigon 5 is marginally slower than Miomap v2 at the menus, but once running both are up to speed. Remember that neither has 7 digit postcode search, so maybe Maca2 is right - you should save your money!

Thanks Guys,

All good tips. I have finally got TT5 Running lighting fast on my PDA but the maps are soo disapointing. With whispers that they are going to stop supporting PDA's Im looking to the future a little.
Maybe its just time to buy new hardware as well then.

Thanks
