|
|
I am currently running a T|E with VM 3.2, but want a more portable combination. I have bought a bluetooth gps receiver and will upgrade the T|E to either a T|E2 or TX.
Can anyone tell me if the TX is compatible with VM3.2, and if so, how it works on the TX's larger screen?
Thanks, |

The ViaMichelin website specifically lists the TX as compatible with v 4 :
Technical information:
For Palm:
palmOne? Zire 31, 72, Tungsten E, TE2, T3, T5, Treo 650, TX
Palm OS® 5.X
2.5 MB of disk space required (depending on SD card size) for TX, T5, TE2 & Treo 650, and 10 MB for all other PDAs.
but that's no guarantee that it's compatible with v 3. You need to find someone who's already using that combination.
Sorry, that's not very helpful ! |

I have now bought a Tungsten E|2, but (maybe not surprisingly), VM3.2 won't copy to the new machine as the Palm Desktop manager has spotted that VM is already installed to the T|E.
Anybody know how to do a successful transfer or reinstall? - I'd be grateful for your experience or advice on this one!

It's sorted. Uninstall and reinstall from the PC and a hard reset of the E2 allowed me to start afresh. All working OK now. |
