Hi mabies,
to the forum!
Which format do you want to convert your .OV2 file to?
Which product do you want to import the POIs into?
Have a look at either Oldie's POIConverter or Dnote's POI Edit.

Morning Robert
I wish to convert them to either cvs or txt, just so I can add more then convert them back to ov2
I have tried POIConverter and POI Edit but both throws up an error when trying to load my ov2 file.
If you wish I will send you my ov2 file for you to browse over (I cant see how to attach a file here)
Regards

I believe there is an error in V6 OV2 creation. The issue has been logged with TT.
Until TT do something about it, you have to Edit the OV2 File with a Hex Editor and put a 00 in the first byte. Then Save it. You should now be able to get a Dump of the OV2.;)
Unfortunate, but necessary. _________________ Richard

Unfortunately not for me . I have opened it with Hex Editor, replced the first byte value of 40 with 00, saved and tried to open it again and still getting nothing - not that I would get an error this time, but it does not generate anything!
Any idea? |

Tried dumpov2, POIEdit and POIConverter. All of them say either record too large or invalid ov2. And I have replaced the first 40 with 00. I have the 6.110 version. |
