Upgrading Tom Tom Navigator

I want to run the recent free download to aid the recording of camera locations, but only have navigator verison 5. Can i upgrade to 5.1 or one of the other supported versions. i have tried the software but Navigator just freezes necessitating ahard reset and reload.

Do you have a product code plastic card, if so I would contact TomTom to find out why this doesn't work. If you don't have the card where did you purchase the software? - Mike

I do have the card still, the problem only arises when i try to load and run the POI Capture software from Pocket GPS World. It states that version 5.00 is not supported only back as far as 5.1 and 5.2. Otrher than that Tom Tom is the best piece of kit i have ever invested in.

To use the POICapture utility you need to have TomTom Navigator version 5,1 or later installed on your device, the SDK will not work with version 5,0
Go to www.tomtom.com and download the latest version (5,21) install this then install the POICapture it will all work then - Mike
