Hi all,
I have just got the TomTom 910 and found it doesn't work with my Sony Ericsson P910i (maybe the model number confuses it ). My old TomTom One worked with my Motorola Razr V3 but I sold both.
Anybody else have luck with other models as I don't want to buy any phones off the compatible list.
Sony Ericsson P910i
TomTom Plus NO
Hands-free calling NO
Contact List NO
Receive SMS NO
Send SMS NO |

I'd ignore the list at tomtom's website - my Siemens S65 is shown as fully compatible with the 910, but the bluetooth connection between the two was constantly dropping, and it was impossible to talk to anyone using either the built in microphone or the external one, as there was no audio going out at all. Incoming audio was fine.
Just returned my 910 to Comet and got a replacement unit. Connected it all up in the carpark outside, and had the replacement back in the store for a refund within 5 minutes. The boxshifter revealed they have had 'shedloads' (his word) returned with the exact same problem.
It's a , because my old 700 worked perfectly with my Siemens, but this new kit doesn't want to play at all. |

SonyEricsson V600i works well, It supports all of the TomTom 510's features and is cheap, Samsungs dont work very well as I tried my wifes and they dont support many of the features |

You're right about Samsungs. I just bought an E370 yesterday, which I much prefer to the SE K750i I was using previously. You can make handsfree calls and use GPRS for traffic updates etc., but no downloaded contacts list or SMS. |

O2 XDAIIs is useless, no services are offered at all
Orange SPVc600 is OK for voice - refuses data connection via 910
02 Exec seems to work with voice and data but not text message

my ericson p910i woul'dnt work with my go510, so I swapped the phone with my nephew for my old ericson s700i and it works perfectly now.
You'd have thought the p910i would have been fully compliant with the new x10's considering it is a more fully featured phone designed for more "professional" applications than the s700i |

Hands free works fine with my LG VX8300. Basically everything else doesn't work, heh. I have Verizon, so the TomTom Plus services don't work unless you hack your phone to enable DUN via EVDO (Verizon disabled EVDO DUN access recently). I can't do text messages with the phone and while in a call using the onscreen d-pad buttons in the "in-call" menu doesn't work. If I ever get up the nerve to hack my phone to enable EVDO DUN I'll post what Plus services work. |

Nokia 6310i appears to be 100% compatible.
Nokia 6670 all OK, except no incoming SMS and no pone book transfer (although easy ti export to ASCII file and copy to contacts on the SD or HD.
Cheers ... Chris |
