I'm trying to install CP6 for the first time. Did not have any previous GPS software installed. I've installed the software on my desktop and downloaded map data. When I opened CP on my Pocket PC (I have a Cingular 8125), I entered all the info required for activation and received the following error message:
An activation error has occurred. There is no row at position 0.
Any suggestions? _________________ Jo Anne |

welcome to the forums. ALK have a relatively decent support department now - try posting your issue there.
What other software did you install on the PDA? _________________ Lutz

I didn't try a re-install but did try a repair. As to an update, I tried activating manually and was able to get the license #. BUT, when I went to activate.alk.com and submitted my info, the website gave me back the same error message that I got on the PDA: There is no row at position 0. _________________ Jo Anne |
