Adding The French Map

I have purchased the French map and am going to download it tonight.

I have a 512 sd card ready to put it on, but tom tom say I have to have a voice and some application on it, my question is, would it be best to keep the GB map on one sd and the French map on another, or put the both on one sd card for seamless transition when crossing the ferry, if so is there a sequence of putting certain files in certain folders or do I just copy the GB map to the card then copy the French map (I will have hidden files etc open)

I would put both maps on the single card (less chance of losing the other card when it is out of the device). Simply load the map onto the card, you will need to switch maps as the unit will not select the map on its own, quite a simple procedure use Change Preferences/ Switch Map - try this before you set off to make sure it is working - Mike
