Hi all
I have a Garmin i3 and Mapsource 6.10.2 CD (which I use with my Garmin Etrex. Is it possible to get these maps onto the i3 and use it in Europe? I'm pretty confused as to what and what isn't possible.
Could someone explain how to do this (if it's possible) and how not to lose the existing UK i3 if I do!
Regards

best bet would be to buy a new micro sd card (aka transflash) with a card reader and install onto a fresh card. saves having to worry about backing up and risking losing data!
as far as i know it should work ok.

Thanks for the rapid replies, guys.
I'm driving from Dover to Gothenburg. So that's France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Sweden!

i'd guess at a minimum of 256mb transflash card. look on ebay or shops like aria.co.uk or mobymemory.com - they usually come with an sd card adaptor. you then need an sd card reader which i presume mapsopurce would detect?
not sure about how to transfer maps but that's the hardware you need ;)
