Does anyone know what size sd card would be needed for TT euro maps?
Now the price has dropped i intend to buy a rider + euro map CD & put them on my own sd card.
I also know that TT have announced a euro version of rider but are quoting 2 months delivery & cant give a price !
Thought very hard about the garmin Nuvi 360 but I guess there is no way to output the voice commands via bluetooth ?? |

You should be on the safe side with a 2 GB card. 1GB may get too small too soon _________________ Lutz

Hi all, I have a tom tom go 700 with Euro maps and have just bought a rider for the bike. I want to take the bike down to France but only have the standard UK maps which were supplied with the TT Rider. There is no way I am paying again for the euro maps which I already own on the 700. Does anyone know how to transfer the Euro maps over to a pre bought 2 gb sd card for the TT rider? I tried and failed. HELP! Thanks. |

I had the same problem when I brought a Rider for the bike after already owning a 700 for the car.
Problem is that I think you are wrong when you say that you already own the maps for a 700, in fact you just own a licence to use them, you don't own the maps themselves. What you suggest is the same as saying you own a copy of Windows XP so why can't you stick the same copy on the 100 other computers you own. It's called theft.
I ended up buying a brand new genuine CD copy of Western Europe maps on EBAY for about £50 ..... |

But if you took your hard disk with XP on it off one PC and put it on another one, would that be "theft"? _________________ Gone fishing! |
