|
|
Hi, I recently purchased a HPrz1710/Kirrio package with via Michelin, I have saved various routes to my favourites but cannot find out how to delete the ones I don't want to keep, can anyone tell me how to do it?
Also some of the routes seem a bit wayward and could not be regarded as the shortest nor the quickest, is there a method of setting way points or adjusting the route.
Many thanks in anticipation.

Think I might have found the answer in another post by elan2s, what a star that man is. Too late to try it now so will resume the battle tomorrow evening.
Good Night

The method posted by elan2s worked perfectly, easy to use and quick.
Many thanks.

I did not think one could save ROUTES, only POIs. Have I missed something? _________________ - - - - - - - - -

Metroace,
if you have the multi language Quickstart manual supplied with the unit, turn to page 17, grey info box at top of page -
"When the route summary is displayed, you can save your departure and/or arrival points by clicking the [house with tick] button which will add them to your favourites, thus making it quicker in the future to specifyyour destinations.
You can access your route settings by clicking on the [settings] button. You can also change your route simply by clicking on [change route] button"

Thought it might be pertinent to provide the link to the elan2s post which gives the instructions

Okay, I've looked at the book and read the grey box. I think I'm still right in saying that this process only saves POIs (or favourites or history destinations) not actual routes. _________________ - - - - - - - - -

OK so in my favourites I have saved a departure point, an arrival point and a green line on a map between those two points and if I am unlucky enough to see them I also have speedcameras showing (courtesy of this website) now forgive me for being old, grey and a bit slow on the uptake but I would classify that as a ROUTE!!!!!
What do you keep in your favourites, mp3 tracks, pictures of Banks or details of journey's between two points? The grey box mentions the word route four times, that might be a clue or even a BIG hint!!!

There are no routes in my favourites. I have home, friends homes, families homes, places I visit now and then. None of them are routes. They are individual places. To make them a route, I have to plan a route from ONE to the OTHER. _________________ - - - - - - - - -

Hi MA by that was quick!
Try planning a journey from D to A and the resultant of that plan save to your favourites and then when you want to delete that saved journey or route you can use the method posted by elan2s
