can anybody help please....i have a tomtom one and have connected it to my nokia n70 thro bluetooth and i have enabled the phones gprs connection...i have the connected onto tomtom traffic and the tomtom received data from my phone on the latest traffic info....the only thing i am uncertain of at present is how much this type of service will be...(vodaphone have said that for every megabite of info it will cost me £2.35p) i am travelling down to portsmouth soon ie 4 hours driving and wondered if anybody knew what the cost of the traffic info would be....i dont want to use traffic if its going to cost say more than£3/4 for the journey....i wonder if anybody can tell me what kind of costs i could expect....hoping somebody can "give us a clue" |

Used for 2 hours a day, with 15 min updates, I went through 16MB in just under a month. |

wow that suprises me ...ive just found an artical on the tom tom site stipulating that an average monthley rate driving 30 hours in rush hour uses 1.9mb (or ave hourly rate in rush hour of 64kb...anybody else that can help me ???? please.. |

As an aid to avoiding costly charges building up get a copy of the superb utility from spb "GPRS Monitor" load it on to yor device and configure it. Once running it will give you an idea as to what is going on in terms of traffic over the data connection, it will even track day/ week and monthly usage - well worth it if you are going to start using the GPRS side of the moblie phone, its worth the effort but put the protection in place to avoid the nasty unexpected cost dropping through the letter box, do a search on www.handango.com to find it, some smart phones/ pocket PC phones come with it for free so check your disks and phone supplier - Mike |

had a go at downloading from the site but phone said corrupt files and would not download the trial version anybody else can help me |
