I have had to restore my SD card and have got everything back to normal, except for the follwing.
1. My Home isn't set
2. All POIs are shown
3. MY POI Warnings are no longer set.
Is there a 'file' which contains this kind of config?

funny enough the file actually has the "cfg" extension. It's in the map folder. _________________ Lutz

Not on mine!! I have a Palm, so I wonder if it works differently??
On mine, the files which are created AFTER the maps were installed are:
great_britain_plus-6B255650.mac
traffic.inc
The only one of these which appears to update in 'real time' is "traffic.inc"
However, I have copied both of these over and whilst I get my "Home" position back, my POI config is still missing!!

Well.. I am stumped now.. I deleted those 2 files and I still had the 'Home' and 'POI setup' that I have just put in.
I made a change to my POI setup and then quit, then I looked at the SD card for files which have changed recently, and the only ones are the MAC and INC file.
I wonder if its on internal memory?? But if it is, that would be stupid as you won't be able to swap maps!!

There it is.. The file is on the Palms 'internal' memory and is called (Name Of Map).cfg.
This might explain why my settings are lost, as I was changing names of the names to try and nail down the root of the problem.
Cheers.. I will have to remember to back this up in future! If I am lucky its in my Backup folder on my Palm.. However, this is unlikely, as due to the 'Hotsync' bug on TomTom v5, you have to turn 'backups' off for most of the files.
