Latest maps for Tomtom Navigator 4.40

Does anyone know what are the latest maps available for Tomtom Navigator 4.40? I have a Treo 600 and I think 4.40 is the latest software version I can use on it. However, I would like to upgrade the maps from my current v390.

you can buy newer maps, and can upgrade to the TomTom Navigator 5.12

Are you sure that Navigator 5 will work on the Treo 600? It's not officially supported, but then neither is version 4.40.

Are you saying that all new maps still work on version 4.40?

v5 maps MAY work (but only if you upgrade), v6 maps will not. Don't have a Treo for testing, only a T3

Ah, so is v5.12 a version of the maps rather than a version of the software? Really confused now Smile

5.12 is a TomTom Navigator version.

2004 maps are in principle v4 maps. 2005 maps are v5 maps. etc. I agree this is a bit muddy. But there are limits as to what application version can open what map version.

TomTom Navigator v4 is US specific, it was never rolled out in EMEA. Those guys went from v3 to v5.
