Hi there,
Newbie, so apologies - the forums are SO in depth, I need a bit of advice as I don't even know where to start!
I've got a PPC with TomTom Navigator 5 and after I've been out and about I'd like to get back to my PC, look at the data that I assume the must have been recorded about where I've been, and plot it on a map (I've got autoroute, but google would do also...)
Is this possible? I've looked about the web, and it seems to be, but the one option I did try which involved trying to find my pgl file was no good - I couldn't find the file?
Any advice, or even URLs to sites/posts where this is already answered would make me very grateful!
Thanks hopefully, in advance.

welcome to the forums. TomTom Navigator 5 no longer offers the logging feature. You will need to use other programs to accomplish that. For example run the older TomTom 3 GPS driver in parallel through GPSGate. _________________ Lutz

Can anyone explain a little more about how we can do this, im a feild engineer and it would be nice to be able to view the routes i do during the weekend and what miles im doing.
So
Whats the best / most detailed logging software?
Is there any free alternative to GPSGate?
What PC software can read the log files and show you the routes/mileage?
Thanks for any advice |
