Every time i run Tomtom 5 on my pda it always starts up showing an area in the Uk that is nowhere near to where i live is this done by default.
I would like to delete this and have it starting up where i live

If you have set your Home location, it will use that after a Reset. Other times it will shown the position of the last Satellite Fix. _________________ Richard

I have done as you said and for some reason it still goes back to the same location not my location.
But i found a back up i did of my sd card and replaced it with the back up and its okay now.

It could be that the .cfg File in the Map Folder was Read Only, and the one you've now copied is not. _________________ Richard

I agree totally, DEF the . cfg files
Seen the same prob 100 times
Glad its sorted
